Clarify section separation in text format · 3076e05c
      Klaus Aehlig authored
While the old description ("The file should contain text data,
line-based, with single empty lines separating sections. The
lines themselves are column-based, with the pipe symbol (|) acting
as separator.") is precise and unambiguous, we did have some
misunderstandings in the past. So add the format of the empty
section (which makes sense to describe a cluster without any
      instances) as a clarifying example.

Fix gnt-network client to accept vlan info · 2243b133
      Dimitris Aragiorgis authored
Until now gnt-network connect expected the network,
mode, link, and optionally groups as positional arguments.

To be able to pass vlan info too, use the `--nic-parameters`
option, just like gnt-cluster client to pass the desired
mode, link, and vlan. Missing values will be filled with the
      default ones.

Do not support old argument passing since mode and link should
be arguments with variable length and this violates bash completion
      generation rules.

Update QA to pass the new option instead of deprecated arguments.

Add support for KVM multiqueue virtio-net · 47eca2c6
      Luka Blaskovic authored
This patch adds support for multiqueue virtio-net[1] which sets a number of
queues (file descriptors) from virtio_net_queues parameter for tap device
to parallelize packets sending or receiving. Tap devices will be created with
      MULTI_QUEUE (IFF_MULTI_QUEUE) support.

KVM paravirtual nics (virtio-net) are only one which supports this feature.
Number of queues are limited by kernel tap implementation (currently to 8).
Instances must manually set number of queues, on Linux using:

      ethtool -L ethX combined $queues

Network device options logic is moved to separate method
_GetNetworkDeviceFeatures which is now properly reused in hotplugging part.
This also fixes unreported bug when vhost_net parameter is set to true,
hotplugged network device will be created without "vhost=on" parameter.
